06. Jamshedpur comes together to Celebrate "Jamshedpur JoyFest: Joy of Giving Week"

www.tatanagar.com has offered to host the events of Jamshedpur JoyFest: Joy of Giving Week (Sept 26-Oct 2, 2010)

about 30-odd schools, Rotary Club, local Tata companies, and community organisations will participate in the "Vastra Samman" and "Ann-Daan" initiatives

Tata Steel (Corporate Sustainability Services) have offered to make their Community Centers across the collection-points (besides the schools) as collection centers for the contribution of clothes and dry-ration (rice, daal, grams, biscuits, etc.). They will be sorted by there yuva sangh, and will reach the needy through a network of NGOs and organisation's CSR wing who work with the rural masses in Jharkhand.

Jamshedpur Auto/Tempo Association will carry the Jamshedpur JoyFest posters to create awareness and convey the message

Payal Talkies will carry the Joy of Giving Week promo before the movies and during intervals

Beldih Club has accepted to host Nukkad-Natak, which XLRI students will perform on Sept 25th as a curtain-raiser for the JGW - and to create awareness about the Jamshedpur JoyFest. The Nukkad-Natak will continue in housing colonies, local colleges and public places.
